We spent the day at De Palm Island... Paradise with a water park.

 

 

Southern Caribbean Cruise - Curacao

We had fun on a mini-jeep ride around the island.

 

On the far side of the island, we stopped at a dry coral bed.

 

 

At the end of the tour, we were able to relax at the beach.  There was a nearby dive shop.

 

Before we got back on the ship, we explored the old Rif Fort and shopping area.

Southern Caribbean Cruise - Grand Turk

We spent the day snorkeling at Grand Turk, so I was not able to take many photos.  This is a photo from the back of our ship as we docked early in the morning...  It was interesting to see the beached fishing boat.  We were told that this happened during the last hurricane.

20130810 Milford Memories Summer Festival

Civil War exhibit.  They had 6 pound and 12 pound cannons.  They fired all of them, several times.

 

 

 

The Milford Fire Department had a hands on exhibit.

This is my favorite shot of the summer.  The expression on Zack's face is priceless.  He was yelling at Kyle for not pumping fast enough...

While I was photographing Renee feeding the bird above, this little guy came within 3 feet of me on the log I had been sitting on.  I think he was looking for food.   I was worried he would be going up my shorts looking for the wrong nuts.
